I forgot my heating pad...
I woke up really late this morning (8:15 - just in time to hear that the tornado warnings for my county had been lifted) and kind of rushed around the house on my way out. I managed to make and eat my breakfast (I was really hungry), but it was still a mad dash out of the house. Halfway to work I realized that I didn't have my heating pad with me, but I figured I ought to be able to tough it out today.
No such luck. :-( My morning started out so promising - despite everyone else's technical difficulties (or perhaps because of them), I got a lot of stuff done. And now I'm trying so hard to ignore my back, all with little avail. On the plus side, the pain is in the middle of my back, not my lower back, so I'm not concerned about the baby - and he's kicking up a storm, anyway.
I'm just drowning in my own self-pity, I know. Women have been having babies for centuries - surely, I can bear with a little back pain?
