HA HA HA!!! Validation is mine at last!!!
Okay... some back story really quick.
I crunch numbers all day. In 10 words or less, that's what I do. One of the reports I rely on each week is the P&L (Profit and Loss Statement, to you non-finance types out there), and the bulk of my reports stem from it. As a result, it's critical that the P&L be on time and accurate. If the P&L is late, my reports are late. If the P&L is wrong and I don't catch it, my reports are wrong. But if the P&L is wrong and I do catch it, it's a matter of overkeying a bunch of stuff while Finance sorts it out.
Today, I caught a major error and I feel ever so good about it.
Sadly, my work here is not done. But I think I'm almost done for the day.
